US Ambassador Richard Mills, Jr. visits Dasaran

We were greatly honored to host at Dasaran Educational Center H.E. U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills, Jr., and Deputy Chief in Mission at US Embassy in Armenia Mr. Rafik Mansour, accompanied by Diana Sitt, Cultural Officer and Hasmik Mikayelyan, Cultural/Education Specialist at the Public Affairs Section of the Embassy. An opening tour was organized at Dasaran introducing the team and the Educational Center, afterwards our guests had the opportunity to observe the special practical training program on "Bandaging with items at hand during a disaster or other emergency situations" for school students and the "Train 12" Teachers' workshop on Modern Educational Models held at Dasaran. Further on, the Founding President of Dasaran Educational Program Suren Aloyan presented the recent achievements and development prospects of the Program, and particularly the recently agreed possible partnership directions between Dasaran and the Project Zero of Harvard University (Graduate School of Education - Massachusetts State, USA), aimed towards preparing new generation teachers. During the meeting Ambassador Mills highly valued the functioning of Dasaran Educational Program and wished success in its future endeavors.
